Moomin 80 Collection – the final chapter in our beloved collaboration
Read article
Do you adore the stories from Moominvalley as much as we do? Tove Jansson’s fairy-tale treasures have touched hearts around the world. Last autumn, we released the first part of our limited design collaboration, in spring the second, and now it's time for the final installment. Discover a soft and cozy collection ready to create beautiful memories together.
A collection that closes the circle
Tove Jansson’s stories portray the lives and adventures of the Moomin trolls in Moominvalley – which, in all its wondrous beauty, embraces everyone who lives there or happens to pass through. Both children and adults are invited into a world where friendship reigns, all emotions are accepted, and where the door is always open.
In this final part, you’ll find, just as in the first, soft nightwear and our new classic robe for children and adults. With this release, we close the circle and encourage you to pass forward – both clothes, memories, and good values. That was exactly the message the collaboration began with.
Part two of the collaboration – the Moomins in colour
In the second part of the collaboration, we released a very special collection where, for the first time since 1956, we got to see the Moomins in color. The collection celebrated friendship and the bonds we form throughout life – the bonds that shape us into who we are.
In this part, we introduced soft everyday garments for children, nightwear for both children and adults, as well as a new classic in the selection – the robe for adults. New this time was that it also included UV clothing and children’s swimwear.

Part one of the collaboration – pass it on
The first part of the collaboration featured illustrations that made us dream of nature and the sea, accompanied by bursts of colour that enchanted us in every way. Through this collection, we want to encourage everyone to “pass it on” – the passing on of clothes, memories and values. This has been our mission from day one, and of course it continues with this collection and all our collections going forward. Our goal is for each of our garments to be worn by at least three children!
