Polarn O. Pyret is the selling party and offers children’s fashion products. Orders placed on the Website will be delivered in accordance with the delivery options set forth on the Website.
These Terms & Conditions apply to you as a private individual who places an order on the Website in the United Kingdom.
By completing your order on this Website, you are accepting these terms & conditions, and this acceptance makes your order binding. You also confirm that the details you have entered are correct. Incorrect details are your responsibility as a customer.
Polarn O. Pyret reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time, which is why we recommend that you, as a customer, always read through the general purchase terms & conditions before a purchase. Notwithstanding, the Terms & Conditions that you accepted at the time of your purchase will always apply to that purchase. The latest version of the Terms & Conditions is always published on our Website.
Where payment is made by credit or debit card, you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the Products selected including VAT and delivery charges. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellations will be made to the same card. Where payment has not been made in full, we may cancel your order and/or suspend any further deliveries to you.
After an order has been completed on the Website, an order confirmation is sent automatically to the specified email address. If you do not receive an order confirmation or have other questions, please contact our Customer Service. Please note that the order confirmation is only notification that we are starting to process your order. We will send you a delivery confirmation as soon as the availability of the product has been confirmed and the item can be delivered. A binding agreement will not have been entered into until you have received a delivery confirmation from us.
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, a delivery confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you specified when you placed your order, where you can see which items will be delivered to you. If there is a problem with your order, e.g. a problem with your credit card or we do not have the Products ordered in stock, and we cannot accept the contract, we will contact you by phone, email or letter.
Delivery takes place in accordance with the selected delivery option at the checkout. We currently offer delivery to personal home delivery and click-and-collect. Please note that the options we can offer will vary slightly depending on where in the country you live or how many items you have purchased. Which delivery options are available and whether there are any limitations to your delivery will be stated at the checkout.
We reserve the right to refuse to process orders due to suspected fraud. All attempts at fraud will be reported to the police.
4.1 Shipping
The available shipping options are displayed at the checkout, based on the delivery destination postcode. The cost of shipping and delivery time are displayed at the checkout next to each available delivery option. If your basket has a value of more than ÂŁ40 after discounts or if you are a POP+ VIP member, there will always be at least one free shipping option.
Your delivery confirmation contains a tracking link which can be used to search for the parcel on the carrier's website. Once your order has been delivered to the collection point, a text message will be sent to the mobile number that was specified when you completed your purchase.
Collection of a parcel from an agent is subject to the selected courier’s terms & conditions; you usually specify the parcel ID and show proof of identity to retrieve a parcel. If someone else collects your parcel for you, they will need to show two valid IDs – theirs and yours.
If the parcel that you are collecting is damaged, do not accept the parcel: report this to the collection point.
Deliveries via a letterbox are only offered below certain item values. If the parcel is too large to deliver through your letterbox, it can be hung on the door, or in some cases delivered to a parcel shop instead.
Polarn O. Pyret will not be liable for parcels a customer has consented to have left outside their door or delivered via their letterbox. Examples of this are courier deliveries where the customer has actively chosen to have the parcel left outside their door or deliveries via their letterbox (which in the case of large parcels can also be hung on the door).
4.2 Delay and part deliveries
We do our best to ensure that you, as our customer, receive your order as quickly as possible, but we accept no liability for possible variations in delivery time due to high order pressure (e.g. at Christmas, during sales/promotions) or for circumstances beyond our control.
Polarn O. Pyret does not make part deliveries. If for some reason we are unable to send all the items in your order, we will inform you of this without delay. If we have already received payment for such an order, we will refund the relevant amount for the item/items to the original payment method that you used when placing your order.
4.4 Uncollected parcel
Your parcel will be held at the parcel shop or at the selected carrier’s collection point for 14 days from the date on which you are notified that your parcel is available for collection. If you do not collect the parcel, after 14 days it will be sent back to our warehouse. Polarn O. Pyret reserves the right to charge you an administrative cost to cover return shipping and handling costs for uncollected parcels.
4.5 Prices
When ordering via the Website, the prices specified on the Website will apply. All prices on the Website are specified in Pounds (**and include VAT, which is currently 20% only on adult wear, accessories) A shipping charge may be added to the order in accordance with our shipping terms & conditions.
If the price or information about a product indicated on the Website is incorrect and you realised or should have realised this, the price or information will not be valid for the purchase.
4.6 Age limit
We only sell to private persons aged 18 years or over. Orders for credit purchases for persons under the age of 18 will not be accepted.
Under Sweden’s Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59) (**Consumer contract regulation 2013), as a customer you always have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing online. The withdrawal period begins on the day on which the item is collected or received by you or a person on your behalf. The right of withdrawal means that you have the right to cancel your purchase and to receive a refund when you have made a purchase on the Website.
At Polarn O. Pyret, you have the right to return all of our items, including sale items for a full refund for 30 days. (**remove exchange and leave return)
Right of withdrawal
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal within 90 days of purchase via the Website, you have the right to open the packaging and examine the item to the extent necessary to assess its character, features and function. However, we are entitled to deduct an amount by which the value of the product has been reduced if you or your children have used the product more than necessary to determine its character, features and function, e.g. in addition to trying the garment on for size. Such a deduction is made according to the value of the product upon return compared to the original value at the time of purchase.
5.1 Return to warehouse
If you want to return one or more items to our warehouse, the return shipping charge is 3 GBP; PO.P+ members do not need to pay this charge.Â
5.3 Refund
When you return an item to our warehouse, the money will be refunded as soon as we have received and inspected the returned item. If you have paid by card, the money for the returned item will be refunded to your card. You only pay for the items that you keep, as well as the original shipping charge and return shipping charge. If you use your right of withdrawal, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery, but not any difference due to your choice of a more expensive shipping option than our standard delivery.
You will receive your refund within 14 days from the day you notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. However, we will not provide the refund until we have received the product back or before you have shown that you have sent it.
If you have used bonus as a payment method for all or part of your purchase, the points will be returned to your membership.
As a consumer in Sweden, you have a statutory three-year guarantee period. If you have purchased a product from the Polarn O. Pyret web shop, and discovered that it is faulty, defective or damaged in transit, we kindly ask you as a customer to make a complaint about the item. Two months is always deemed to be a reasonable period of time to complain about the item after the discovery of a fault/defect.
You can make a complaint about your item by sending the item back to our warehouse:
(1) When making a complaint to our warehouse, we kindly ask that you first contact customer service and provide the order number for the item that you wish to complain about. If the complaint is approved, the garment should always be returned to our warehouse. Return shipping is always free when a complaint is approved. Your parcel contains a delivery note, return address label and returns slip to use for complaints.
Once the complained-about item has been returned and inspected, as a customer you will be compensated in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Polarn O. Pyret reserves the right to refuse to approve a complaint if the item is not defective in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. We follow Sweden’s National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN) recommendations. You can contact ARN through their website or by sending a letter to Box 174, SE-101 23 Stockholm, Sweden. As a consumer, you can also complain via the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform that you access here.
I am not making a complaint about my garment, but I do wish to have my garment repaired:
Damage to clothes caused by the user, failure to follow care instructions, incorrect treatment or normal wear is not included in the guarantee.
We accept no liability for unforeseeable events that may cause any stock unavailability, stock differences, delivery delays, price adjustments and technical faults. We also accept no liability for any inaccuracies in images, texts and/or price labelling.
If clothes in your delivery have incorrect price labelling, it will be the price for which you bought the item at the time of purchase (see delivery confirmation/receipt) that applies for your purchase.
Our obligations are postponed in the event of force majeure. Examples of force majeure include general strikes, pandemics, transport disruptions or other events beyond our control, regardless of whether this occurs at our company or at our suppliers/partners.Â
Trading in Items
Please do not send any items that have any holes, these will not be accepted and cannot be re-processed.
- All items for trade-in must be registered on the PO.P trade-in portal. You will not be credited for any additional items in the parcel, and these cannot be returned to you.
- A trade-in must have a minimum value of ÂŁ5.
- Second Hand price points offered are non-negotiable and there is no cash alternative.
- Items must be returned clean, freshly washed, unmodified, with all size and care labels attached and with empty pockets, or the trade-in will not be accepted. We are unable to return items in this condition that are not accepted.
- Fabric must not be heavily stained, torn, have holes or be damaged, or the trade-in will not be accepted. All items are assessed by the PO.P Second Hand team and if an item is assessed in this condition, we are unable to send it back to you.
- We reserve the right to refuse any products at our discretion.
- All trade-ins are subject to a physical inspection. The final amount of the voucher may differ from the initial quote received. The price per item will not change, but the item could be rejected, in which case zero credit given. Please note that we are not offering to buy back products until they have been confirmed as genuine PO.P products and their resale condition has been verified. If an item is not accepted, it will not be returned to you.
- If we do not accept your item, we will sustainably recycle it; we regret that we are not able to return it to you.
- PO.P Second Hand items received will be re-processed, Ozoned to remove odours, re-barcoded, photographed, and sold as property of Polarn O. Pyret at a selling price of our choice.
- Please retain all proof of postage so any issues can be resolved directly with the courier.
- If we accept your products for resale, you will receive a Polarn O. Pyret voucher to use online. Please see voucher terms and conditions for further details.
- If your coat arrives without a hood, we wil only provide a ÂŁ5 credit, regardless of item type.

Voucher/Discount T&Cs
- Once a trade-in is received and approved, a voucher will be sent via email. This can take up to 3 weeks from receipt of your parcel.
- Vouchers can only be redeemed on www.polarnopyret.com/en/uk/
- Vouchers entitle trade-in customers for money off their purchase. Items can be from any collection, including sale.
- There is no minimum spend but vouchers must be used in a single transaction and any “change” will not be carried over.
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
- Only one voucher code can be used per transaction. This includes vouchers from promotions, catalogues, and from different trade-ins.
- Vouchers cannot be redeemed against gift cards.
- Vouchers cannot be redeemed against 3 for 2 promotions.
- If returning an order placed using a trade-in voucher, please contact customer service.
