Terms & Conditions

Trade‑in requirements – please read carefully before sending items

Only official Polarn O. Pyret (PO.P) items are accepted. All other items will be rejected.
Items must be clean, freshly washed, unmodified, and fully functional, with all size and care labels intact and pockets emptied.Items must not be heavily stained, torn, have holes, or show significant damage.
All items are assessed by the PO.P Second Hand team.

Items that do not meet our requirements will be rejected.
Rejected items cannot be returned and will be disposed of sustainably by Polarn O. Pyret.

You must be a PO.P+ member to create a trade‑in.
By accepting our Terms & Conditions, we will create a PO.P+ membership for you if you are not already signed up. This includes receiving marketing emails and a password creation email.
A trade‑in must have a minimum value of £5.

Trade‑in prices are non‑negotiable and there is no cash alternative.
We reserve the right to refuse any products at our discretion.

Second hand checks (vouchers) will be issued only to the email address used to create your trade‑in.
Second hand checks will be issued once your items have been received and assessed. You will receive an email confirming this.
You will receive second hand checks for the full approved value of your trade‑in.
- If the total value exceeds £50, it will be split into multiple checks in £50 increments, with a final check for any remaining balance.
- For example, a trade‑in value of £126 will be issued as £50 + £50 + £26.
All second hand checks are stored on your PO.P+ account. You will need to create a password and log in to redeem them. Once logged in, available checks will also appear automatically at checkout.
Multiple second hand checks (including checks from separate trade‑ins) can be used in a single transaction. The order value must exceed the value of each check used.
- For example, to redeem a £50 check, the order value must be above £50.
Second hand checks are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Checks cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase gift cards
If an order that includes a second hand check is cancelled or returned:
- the full check value will be reissued if the entire order is cancelled or returned
- the unused proportion of the check will be reissued for partial returns or cancellations
