Cleaning out your children's wardrobe can feel overwhelming and challenging. What should you keep? And what should you do with clothes that are outgrown? To make the process easier, we’ve put together a guide!
Here’s what to do:
- Take out ALL the clothes and sort them by category. Clear out one category at a time.
- Divide the clothes into four groups: keep, sell, donate, and recycle.
- Keep clothes that have sentimental value. Place these items in a box and label the box with the sizes of the clothes.
- Can the damaged clothes be repaired? Create a separate pile for these items.
- Does the garment seem beyond repair? Maybe you can sew a dress for the teddy bear from it? Otherwise, take it to textile recycling.
- Prepare the clothes you plan to sell or donate by washing or wiping them down.
