It’s back-to-school time at last! Here are the garments and accessories that your child will need, in addition to their school uniform and shoes. Print this list and cross off each item!
Backpack
Choose one that’s comfortable to carry and big enough. Buy a backpack with reflectors, so your child is visible from behind.
Rainwear
Traditional rain clothes are essential for playing outdoors at breaktime when it’s damp or drizzly.
Wellies
Perfect for rainy days and muddy school trips.
Socks
A spare pair of socks is always useful if your child’s feet get wet or cold. Wool socks are comfy to wear inside wellies on chilly days and wool keeps you warm, even if it gets wet.
Thermal layer
Let your child wear a soft thermal top and leggings on very cold days. They're easy to wash after use and keep your child extra warm and dry.
Shell jacket and shell trousers or shell overall
Is your child very active? Shell garments are the perfect outerwear garments for active play, as they’re windproof, waterproof and have good breathability.
Windproof fleece jacket
As our fleece jacket is windproof, it’s suitable as both an insulating middle layer when it’s cold and a jacket in milder weather.
Hat
